Crazy Weather

March 14th, 2006

It was like this in February last year, when temps in the 60’s one day turned to snow the next. And so we had the same thing this week; temps in the high 60’s on Sunday, and then on Monday, it starts to snow. Not a big snowstorm like last year, only a flurry–but still enough to turn your head. Two straight years with this phenomenon at about the same time, maybe it’s a trend…

Cosmic Buddha noted the same variances, even more wild than what I observed here.

Woke up to 2-3 inches of snow covering the roads this morning… Looked just like the photos on your earlier post – nice photos, by the way!

I think global warming is earth increasing an avg temp of 0.01C to 0.03C per year. I don’t think this is that.

Was talking to a friend yesterday and he reminded me that weather for entrance exams is always crappy. I paused to think about it and remembering back over the years I can only think of one entrance exam where the weather was great.

But I am down here in Yamaguchi-ken. Your milage may vary.
