It lays out a detailed chronology of how the Bush administration used terror alerts, terror arrests, and other terror-related events to control the news cycle, dampening both positive attention to Democrats and negative attention to the administration.
Winston Churchill summoned the people of his nations courage at a time of peril. Bush and the Repubicans have summoned this nations fears in a time of much less peril.
Chuchill goes down in history as one of its greatest men. Bush, well, we’ll just have to wait and see. I got a pretty good idea he won’t be sharing company with Churchill.
