One of the benefits of spending a sleepless night because of a bad cold–you get to see the sunrise.

Luis, hope you feel better soon. Nice sunrise shot. Where is it, actually? My wife and I are both just getting over colds — 2 weeks’ worth too. I think it’s the usual change-of-weather seasonal affliction, at least for us. It’s times like this when I miss CA’s two-season weather too, just wet and dry. (Living near Nara by way of the San Gabriel Valley, Petaluma and Berkeley…)

Hello! The shot was taken out my dining room window, over a hill looking in towards Tokyo–I’m out in the Tama area, western part of the prefecture.

Thanks for the well wishing. Hey, if people catch colds over weather changes, then today must have sent a lot of people into sneezing fits–half the temp it was yesterday, and overcast as compared to yesterday’s sunny!

Me, I’m from the SF Bay Area, south peninsula, so I grew up in a sunny, mild climate–but having lived in Japan for 13 years, I guess I got used to weather changes more…
