Good Lord in Heaven and All That Is Holy

October 23rd, 2009

Apparently this is real: The Windows 7 Whopper:

J7Whopper

There’s a Burger King at Sunshine City, a few blocks from where I live. I’ll have to check that out. Not that I will actually order one of these abominations–the four-patty “Mega Mac” was bad enough. How many thousands of calories could be in this thing?

Don’t be fooled by the price: at’s 1450 yen (about $16). The “777” yen ($8.50) price is for the first 30 customers of the day. A promotion which, on second thought, might actually last all day.

Luis—buy me one–put it in some kind of cool sack and sent it to me! Please!!! I am dying for BK. I have not had BK in more than 3 years. This one item will keep me for the next three!

ah, BK. Their appearance in Takadanobaba in the late 90s was a good day, a very good day, tho in retrospect the food quality really sucked.

A man can live on McD’s and Wendy’s only so long.

I cried when the Arby’s in Shibuya closed. Still can’t believe I was privileged to work 4 days a week in Shibuya in the early-90s. Teaching 25 hrs a week was sorta tough but having it be in Shibuya definitely made up for it. It was with somewhat mixed emotions that I moved on to better things.

Good lord!! I barely scarfed down the Mega Mac when I was there (felt sick for about three hours afterwards). I don’t even want to even attempt that…perhaps take a picture, but I would have to share that with like ten people, seriously.
