Scary Christmas!

Okay, this guy might be the new Pope, but there’s no denying it: he looks evil. In fact, he looks like a cross between Dick Cheney and Darth Sidious, dressed as Santa.
I mean, can you imagine being a six-year old kid and seeing that mug coming at you? It’d be enough to give any child nightmares.
“Come to the dark side, and we will rule the world together! Heh-heh-heh haaa!”
Seriously. How could they let this guy out? Was there no one to take a look at him before he went before the cameras, and say, “you know, I don’t think so.”

I had flashes of Emperor Palaptine (spell) when I saw that mug.
That’s who Palpatine is–Darth Sidious is his Sith name.
Have you seen the new Pope’s fancy red shoes? They’re amazingly Italiano-styling for a German guy to be wearing.
Give him a bit of a break- he’s still new to this whole Pope gig. Couple of years in, he’ll have it down. As long as he might be Pope, he can have a few flub-ups the first few years.
But yeah, this is a scary pic. He kinda looks like maybe in this picture he’s holding his robe open and saying “I got yer Christmas present right HERE!”
