Rush Limbaugh Again
So far, a local Florida TV station is the only source outside of a few liberal blogs that is reporting on Rush Limbaugh having been “detained” at Palm Beach International Airport for illegal drug possession.
Update: OK, it got picked up, only after Limbaugh’s lawyer got his version of the story out. The claim is that Limbaugh had only Viagra, and on a doctor’s prescription; that the bottle did not have Limbaugh’s name on it, but rather the names of two doctors, “for privacy purposes,” according to his lawyer. Perusing discussions on the matter, I’ve seen a few people make a point by asking, “how many of you out there could get your doctor to prescribe any drug to you in someone else’s name?” While nothing may come of this, it certainly shows up Limbaugh’s shortsightedness. I mean, really, if I were on probation for doctor shopping, I wouldn’t take any drug–much less travel with one–unless it were absolutely necessary, until the probation ended. I’d want to stay squeaky clean, not go traveling with prescription drugs under someone else’s name, for crying out loud. But then, I’m not Rush Limbaugh.

Mainstream media has picked it up.
