Remember one week ago, when I opined that the “GOP way” is to blame their own faults on the Democrats? More evidence, from the Master of Malfeasance Tom DeLay himself:
House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Tex.) implored Republican senators yesterday to stick with him while he addresses questions about his travel and his dealings with lobbyists, as House Democrats unveiled plans to try to make ethics a defining issue for the year. …Attendees said DeLay, in extremely brief remarks, told the senators that, if asked about his predicament, they should blame Democrats and their lack of an agenda.
‘Nuff said.

You have to see this if you haven’t heard about it-Election 2004 New Hampshire.

I know about it fairly well, Josh Marshall has covered it quite a bit in his blog Talking Points Memo. However, I fail to see its relevance here.
In the future, you might want to include your point; typically, when people drop a medium-to-long piece of documentation in front of me with no comment, expecting me to read it all through on the chance that I might be interested, I tend to ignore it. In this case, I happened to be familiar with it, but had I not, I probably would have just replied with “you tell me what it is and why I should read it” or something like that.
Sorry for picking nits…
