Egrets and Herons
August 21st, 2005
By now I’m more than used to them–all the egrets and the grey herons are so common hereabouts. And yet they are still beautiful, improbably graceful birds. I got a few nice photos of some along the Tama River recently, and thought that I might share them. The first two have larger versions when clicked. Enjoy.

Those are some beautiful pictures of egrets/herons. Thanks. I don’t know the difference between egrets and herons; is there one? I love that they are in dark silhouttes. I wonder did you use some special technique for that?
