Dang
Hiromi and I really were looking forward to a hike today, but once again, we got rained out. We even got up before 5am, got all ready to go, cooking gyoza and other goodies to bring along–but the weather just never got any good, at least not that early. Despite constant predictions of an end to the rain, it just keeps on coming, making this the rainiest and coolest summer for Japan in recent memory.
Hiromi knows a really nice waterfall to picnic under in Oku-Tama. I guess we’ll have to wait until September to go (Hiromi has to go to Osaka to do research for her thesis). At least my new school schedule gets me Mondays off (as well as the weekends), so we’ll have ample opportunity then.
