I know nothing of US politics anymore but I read somewhere during the election that his vote record was very much in the liberal demo camp. It is his stance on the war that is painting him as a repub.
But I may be very much mistaken.
Hmm. Maybe not, at least by some standards; this report seems to back up what you’re saying. Nonetheless, Lieberman seems to constantly be showing up as the token Democrat whenever Republicans want to look “bipartisan,” and has even said that he will join a Republican filibuster in the Senate. He may vote relatively liberally in some regards, but he’s not too far from the “liberal” side of the GOP, especially for a New England politician, and he certainly has no problem giving comfort and aid to Republicans on a regular basis.
Message to David, who left a comment that may have been intended as private communication: I am unable to email you back, if that is what you intended, as you said to use your Yahoo email and not your Hotmail address-but you only left a Hotmail address, and didn’t give any Yahoo email address. Just FYI.
