Tower Lights

Just a little photo note here whilst I convalesce. I had forgotten that, every year around Christmas, the local hilltop observation tower (currently closed to the public) gets lit up quite nicely for the holidays. It stays that way a bit past the New Year, but I will have to see to be reminded for how long. It’s a lovely idea, and the only thing wrong with it is that they set the segments to flash on and off–it would be much better just to have them stay on, IMHO. Still, a nice gesture by the city (Hiromi opined that we must pay a lot in city taxes because of this, but frankly I don’t see this costing quite that much) and a nice though temporary addition to the skyline.
