Microsoft Redesigns iPod Packaging

March 1st, 2006

Not really, thank goodness. But someone did a great job of illustrating the differences in style between Apple and Microsoft, in this 2 1/2-minute animation of what the iPod’s packaging would look like if the marketing people at Microsoft were in charge of the project. A great little video, and perfectly chosen music to boot.

Why is it coming to your blog makes me feel dirty for using PCs? *laugh*

it goes both ways. the m$ packaging is probably like that because there’s too many marketing people to appease. I worked on some m$ commercials and it was a pain.

the funny spoof is exaggerated, but REALLY darn close – just google some packaging for logitech mx900 mice or others.

the mac video is ALSO true… as i’ve got to comp with friggin’ final cut at work and after effects and CRAP always happens. I’d use premiere pro, but final cut is so much more convenient/userfriendly/industry (until it crashes).
