Yet More Evidence of E-Voting Fraud
UC Data, part of UC Berkeley’s Survey research Center, has come out with a statistical analysis (PDF file) which they claim all but proves that electronic voting machines in Florida gave Bush 130,000 extra votes (seen as 260,000 if the votes were switched from Kerry to Bush). From the summary (PDF file):
- Irregularities associated with electronic voting machines may have awarded 130,000 excess votes or more to President George W. Bush in Florida.
- Compared to counties with paper ballots, counties with electronic voting machines were significantly more likely to show increases in support for President Bush between 2000 and 2004. This effect cannot be explained by differences between counties in income, number of voters, change in voter turnout, or size of Hispanic/Latino population.
- In Broward County alone, President Bush appears to have received approximately 72,000 excess votes.
- We can be 99.9% sure that these effects are not attributable to chance.
This report echoes an analysis done a week or so ago which showed reported Republican turnout in Bush-friendly e-voting counties to be ridiculously high, while Democratic turnout was inexplicably low, also suggesting e-voting fraud.
Even if this does not turn the election, it is still an indicator of massive fraud, which is always a serious crime–and it must be investigated. If you ask me, e-voting is and always was a seriously flawed idea. With so much talk about constitutional amendments going around–amend the constitution to ban gay marriages, amend the constitution to ban abortion, amend the constitution to elect Arnie–how about this one: amend the constitution so that all the voting methods be constantly tested, and only the one shown as most accurate and effective would then be used in every precinct in the country–with tamper-proof physical records and an easily verifiable recount system built-in. And no dependence on electronic memory. At all.

Amend the constitution so that all elections are done by paper ballot and hand counted, and build in enough time to do the hand counting. Its that simple. Nothing could be more important.
There is no doubt in my mind that Bush was not elected fairly but by vote fraud. I don’t know how they did it specifically, but I do know a thing or two about systems, having designed them for over 15 years. Somewhere there is a programmer or a systems designer that knows something. Maybe they outsourced the programing. But the designer had to be an American.
You don’t design a system to not have a paper trail and fail safe mechanisms ever. To not do so, was to do so on purpose with intent in mind. I’ve designed many systems – the job is to think through all scenarios – period. They thought through the scenarios and got what they wanted.
E-vote fraud was tested and perfected in Nebraska by a now sitting republican senator (I forget his name) who was president of the company that manufactured vote machines in Omaha. The vote tallies he got from traditional democratic precints alledgedly defies all history and presedent.
My guess is that they inflated numbers everywhere they could to give Bush a plurality in the popular vote, and tactically in battle ground states where they could.
American democracy is going down a rat hole fast. Where is John Kerry, the fighter? Kerry reportedly has $15 million in left over campaign funds he wants to use in 2008. He won’t get my vote. He said he’d fight for every vote to be counted, and from all apperiences it looked like he lied. He hasn’t lifted a finger. Maybe he’s doing things behind the scene, but I am very disgusted with him not coming out as an advocate for honest voting. Sad, sad, sad.
Kerry reared his head yesterday. Perhaps he’s stepping into the role of leading the loyal opposition. Here he might be able to do some good and show his stripes as a fighter, his values as well.
He is seems to be using techno-populism to introduce a bill that would give health insurance to 8 million children. Of course the bill has no real chance as it takes money from the rich and gives it to the poor.
This is a good way to shame the Republicans on their values. Bush proposes to create a culture of life. Well most women who choose abortion do so because they can’t afford to care for any new born properly, which includes: pre-natal and post natal care, day care, and health insurance.
Want to create a culture of life, put your money where your mouth is. But we all know that Republicans value only money. So Kerry will be able to really shame them and expose them for what they really are here.
