I took the initiative in moving forward a whole range of initiatives that have proven to be important to our country’s economic growth and environmental protection, improvements in our educational system.

RIGHT WINGER #1: You say that you INVENTED the Internet all by YOURSELF???

AL GORE: No, I said I took the initiative….

RIGHT WINGER #2: He “invented” the Internet! Haw Haw! Yeah, and I “invented” my dog!

MITT ROMNEY: Well, I was speaking figuratively, not literally.
