The LDP and Komeito are well beyond winning a majority, and the LDP seems to be catching up–unfortunately…

13 seats left. I am forced to agree with the sentiment that this will probably not generate any real changes, though this does still send a bit of a message. What is interesting to note is the huge loss by the Communists–most of the Minshuto’s gains have come from them, it seems. Though one has to wonder how the Communists have managed to stick around this long….
