Missed Opportunity

September 15th, 2007

On the train home from the school barbecue picnic, I saw a guy on the train. He was reminiscent of Natsume Soseki, though his mustache was bushier and more narrow–kind of bulged out of his upper lip like a large, hairy plum or something. He was wearing a T-Shirt that had pretty good Engrish on it. The perfect photo, except I didn’t have the nerve to take a shot of him or ask him to pose.

The T-Shirt read:

ABSTINENTLY PLEASURE

Somewhere crying out for help

In between the two lines, there was more text about dogs trained to save people’s lives.

Sometimes I am so tempted to risk annoying people by taking their photos.
